Aab-e hayat ( water of life) is a Tazkera (commentary) on Urdu Literature & Poetry composed by Muhammad Husain Azad in 1880. The book was depicted as “canon shaping” and “the regularly reproduced, and most broadly read, Urdu book of the past century.”
Aab-e hayat turned into the absolute most powerful hotspot for both accounts and authentic hypotheses about Urdu Shairy. Its second version in 1883 was joined into the official educational programs at Punjab University and a few different schools.
In association with Shamsur Rahman Faruqi this books was translated and edited in english by Frances W. Pritchett.
